Waldensius Girsang, MD, obtained his medical doctor certification from Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatera and his ophthalmologist certification from Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. He is currently a member of Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association [IOA] – PERDAMI, Indonesian Medical Association [IMA] – IDI, and European Society of Retina Specialist [EURETINA].

He joined a fellowship program at JEC and Vitreoretinal Training at Zhongshan Ophthalmologic Center, Sun Yat Sen University, Guangzhou, China. These fellowships allowed him to enrich his skills and knowledge in his expertise focusing on general ophthalmology, cataract, and vitreoretinal. He is now working due to his excellent skills as an ophthalmologist and as a part of Cataract, LASIK, and Vitreoretina specialist team.
