Hernawita Suharko, MD is an ophthalmologist consultant, especially for oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. She practices as an oculoplastic surgeon at JEC Eye hospital and she has already conducted many surgeries of oculoplastic & reconstructive cases. She studied at Faculty of Medicine, Christian University of Indonesia, and continued expanding her knowledge of Oculoplasty and Reconstructive Surgery at Moorfield Eye Hospital, London, for her fellowship.

She has done some major contributions in various international & national ophthalmology meetings as a participant, speaker, and instructor in plastic & reconstructive courses and also as a lecturer. In 2006, she had been trusted to be the head of plastic & reconstructive division of Department of Ophthalmology Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital - University of Indonesia, while she gets back her chance to hold her position from 2008 until now. Dr. Hernawita is also an active member of Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association, Indonesia Society of Oculoplastic & Reconstructive Surgery (INA-SOPRS) and Asia Pacific Society & Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS).
