Susy Fatmariyanti, MD is a consultant ophthalmologist in the field of oncology, oculoplastic, and reconstruction. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, and a clinical educator at RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. She is actively involved in the outpatient service unit, the emergency unit including doing surgery. She is also active in teaching, mentoring, research, and community service. Many scientific works (posters, articles, case reports, and even research) have been published nationally and internationally, both as authors and co-authors. These scientific works show her concern in contributing her thoughts to the advancement of science. In 2019 she received an award from Dr. Soetomo as the Best Doctor of the Year 2019. She is active as a speaker at the national scientific seminar. She has deepened ophthalmic oncology through a fellowship that was held by the ICO (International Council of Ophthalmology) for 3 months at the University of Cologne, Germany in 2017.

In the organization, she is active as a member and administrator of the East Java Branch of Perdami. In 2017-2019 as the scientific coordinator, while from 2019 until now she has served as treasurer II. As a member, she actively participates in cataract eradication activities by participating in many mass cataract surgeries. In 2016-2019 she was recorded as the secretary of the Eye Bank. The position that just received in 2020 is as treasurer II of the Surabaya branch of the Indonesian Oncology Association. In the national organization, she is a member of INASCRS (Indonesian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) and INASOPRS (Indonesian Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Society). In international organizations, she is a member of APACRS (Asia Pacific Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) and APTOS (Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society).

At Klinik Utama Mata JEC-Java @ Surabaya, she actively deepens her knowledge and competency. Through a fellowship held by INASCRS at the dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie  Eye Clinic Bogor participated in the Phacoemulsification Surgery Course in 2016. Meanwhile, she obtained refractive surgery skills, especially in Lasik and ReLEx SMILE, through courses, live surgery, wetlab, and hands-on at the Singapore National Eye Center (SNEC) and JEC in collaboration with Zeiss. In carrying out her daily services, she is a person with integrity, prioritizes honesty, makes effective communication, and upholds professionalism. Informed consent is the main means of providing education and understanding to patients and families.
